Our softest 100% cotton flat diapers are unbleached, birdseye weave.  Tried and true for over a decade, these are a favorite among our customers.

  • One single layer
  • Measures 27 inches by 30.5 inches -  and will shrink into a square for easy folding
  • Weigh just over 3 ounces each - which is heavier and more absorbent, than discount brands in chain stores
  • Unbleached for extra softness

The original cloth diapers

Flats are the original cloth diaper still used around the world. Birdseye flats are durable one-size diapers, making them the most economical cloth diapering choice. These diapers do require folding, a diaper fastener and diaper cover.

Many uses

Flat diapers can be used alone for cloth diapering, as absorbent inserts for pocket diapers and AIO cloth diapers.

Our soft, cotton cloth has a lot more uses than just diapering ie., dish towels, burp cloths, lap pads, changing pads, bibs, wash cloths, baby wipes, or gentle, lint-free wipes for your car, dusting and cleaning.

Easy care

Because flat diapers are only a single layer thick, they dry quickly on your clothes line or in your dryer.  For those who have little access to washing machines, flat diapers are a great choice, because they wash easily and dry quickly, even in humid areas.

If you have patience and are willing to do some minimal folding, then using these diapers are by far the least expensive way to comfortably diaper your baby.

Unbleached cotton birdseye hasn't been treated with harsh chemicals, so the diapers retain their softness once washed.  Keep in mind unbleached flats must be washed 2-4 times before use. Since the diapers still contain cotton oils, they must be washed thoroughly in order to become soft and absorbent.

Also available in Bleached (dozens) and Organic (dozens).

Good Quality Diapers

These are good quality cloth diapers which I purchased for adult incontinence. I can fold these to the exact size needed and, since the diapers are 100% cotton, don't have to worry about allergic reactions. These diapers do have to be washed a few times to soften them before using.

Absorbent and soft

These flats are great. They are soft and very absorbent. I’ve been using them now for two years, and we’ve never had problems with leaks or blowouts.

Perfect for dusting delicate furniture finishes without scratching.

I had been looking for a year or two for soft cotton cloths to use on some of my pieces of furniture that have delicate finishes--in particularly a baby grand piano and some dining room pieces. I had a bunch of soft baby diapers that I used for dusing, and these disappeared after a cleaning service cleaned my house. Cloth diapers are a thing of the past, but I found a package of them on Amazon.com, and am very happy using them as dust cloths.

Perfect lint free cleaning/kitchen towel

I love these for cleaning windows & drying dishes. After a few washes they’re great. Just don’t expect them to be absorbent until after being washed a few times. They’re the perfect lint free towel.

Wanted to try something different

We use pocket diapers, but I wanted to get these to have as back up or for emergency since they dry well without a dryer and my inserts take more than a day to air dry sometimes. It took me at least 6 washes before it became more absorbant, but I'm noticing they are getting a bit more absorbant with each wash after that since it takes a while for the natural oil to come out. I like that these are softer than the bleached kind I've tried before from a different brand. These are not as soft as my bamboo inserts but they are not too rough, they seem comfortable enough for baby to peruse around in a cover. I love these so far and use them padfolded in a cover or pocket diaper. I wish I started off with these first since they are more affordable and customizable but it's ok, live and learn. The quality is good.
