Pocket cloth diapers have a liquid-proof outer barrier and allow you to stuff your absorbent material into a pocket in the interior. The layer against the baby's skin is generally a stay-dry fleece. After changing, the outer piece and inner piece should be separated for laundering. The absorbent material may be an insert designed specifically for the pocket diaper, or you may use prefolds or flat diapers.
All-in-Two (AI2) cloth diapers are reusable waterproof covers with a snap-in or lay-in absorbent insert. Some AI2 covers also work with prefold or flat diapers as the absorbent layer, giving you maximum flexibility in your cloth diapering routine.
