OsoCozy Cloth Diaper Prefolds - 100% Indian Cotton Prefolds - Unbleached Natural

OsoCozy Unbleached Prefold Cloth Diapers are 100% cotton in a twill/gauze weave. They start out incredibly soft and absorbent, and they become even softer with washing. Wash these cloth diapers a couple times, and they fluff up beautifully! As with all cloth prefolds these will shrink 5-10%.

How many layers? The 3-part number (4x6x4) refers to the number of fabric layers in each of the three panels of the prefold, with the middle panel being the thickest. Most home users prefer the heavier 4x8x4 prefolds because of the added absorbency. Most diaper services use 4x6x4 prefolds to cut down energy and time needed for drying, and they supply enough diapers for frequent diaper changes. If you are washing at home, start with 4x8x4 then size down if you find those too bulky for your baby.

OsoCozy Prefolds are 100% Cotton - Unlike prefolds from more recognized national children's clothing brands which use a synthetic polyester filling between just two layers of cotton. Our diapers are a better value as they are thicker and more absorbent. Additionally, there is often an ammonia odor buildup in synthetics which you won't get in cotton diapers.

Two Basic Sizes - We offer six sizes in the unbleached prefolds but most families need just two sizes.  Those two sizes are the Infant 4x8x4 for 7-15 lbs and the Premium 4x8x4 for 15-30 lbs.  Don't be fooled by "One-Size" prefolds which will be bulky on newborns and have insufficient absorbency on larger babies.

Bleached vs unbleached prefolds? Our customers generally prefer unbleached to bleached prefolds. Unbleached diapers are softer and more durable than bleached cloth diapers and hide stains better as well.

Prep diapers before using. Unbleached prefold cloth diapers must be washed and dried on hot at least 2-3 times after you receive them before they become absorbent. Test absorbency by making a pocket or bowl of the diaper and slowly pouring in 1/2 cup of water. If the water pools rather than soaking in quickly, keep washing. DO NOT use fabric softener, which would coat the fibers and cause repelling. Despite the added effort necessary to break in these diapers, they are extremely popular and by most accounts well worth it.

Unbleached prefolds

These wash up so soft right away and stay soft! They’re great quality, and excellent for my baby with sensitive skin.
Shipping was very quick. I received my order within three days.

The perfect cloth diapers!

I’ve used these diapers with both of my children. I have bought newborn, premium, and toddler size. I use newborn size from the very start until my girls have turned 4 months old. Then I start using premium size, folding it quite a bit extra in the back. And I use the premium size up until about they’re a year and a half old and then start using toddler size! I buy the premium size, because it saves quite a bit of money to only buy three sizes instead of buying the infant size for after the newborn stage. This has worked perfectly for me for both diapering both of my daughters! They’re great quality and absorbent! For covers I use econobum for newborn stage and flip diapers for the older stages. Not a single downside has come from using Osocozy diapers! I absolutely recommend them to anyone interested in cloth diapers!

Prefold_shrink

I'll start by saying I love the absorbency of these prefolds. Definitely better than just a flat. Though sadly they shrunk so much I can't even fold it around my baby on the sides. I got the regular size for 15-30lbs and have a 5 month old. So now I just use it as a liner with the covers.

The perfect prefolds!

I’ll never go back to any other style of diaper after trying these prefolds with the Osocozy covers! Soft, well made, great fit, super absorbent, easy to wash, and quick to dry; what’s not to love?

Great Prefolds

These are great prefold diapers for infants. My son was discharged from the hospital at 5 pounds, so we originally used this brand's preemie diapers. Now that my son is 8.5 pounds, he has started to outgrow those diapers. I bought these to fill the gap before we can use regular sized prefolds. These diapers are very absorbent and fit my son well at his size. They are very soft and are well padded in the middle to increase absorbency.
