OsoCozy Bamboo Organic Cotton Flat Diapers (6 pk)

OCPF-BOC
Regular price $16.50 Sale price $22.00

OsoCozy bamboo/organic cotton flat diapers are 70% bamboo and 30% certified organic cotton. They measure 32 inches by 35 inches (so they will shrink to square when washed about 26x26), and they are one layer thick. Bamboo gives the diaper extra softness, while the added organic cotton makes the diaper sturdy and long lasting.

Bamboo Flats - Super Absorbent Diapers

If you want a super absorbent diaper, try bamboo. These bamboo diapers are made with birdseye, a woven fabric that allows for the most absorbency. We use the same woven structure for our cotton diapers, but with the added absorbency of bamboo, you get flat diapers that work for heavy wetters and nighttime.

Flat diapers are the original cloth diapers still used in many countries. Flats are durable, one-size diapers, making them one of the most economical cloth diapering choice.

Bamboo flat diapers also make great inserts for pocket diapers or inserts for extra absorbency in all in ones.

Diaper Folding!

Flat diapers require folding with the use of a diaper fastener or pins. Your 6-pack of flat diapers will arrive with a simple folding guide. Many parents prefer folding so they get absorbency where their baby needs it, plus they have a diaper that is very easy to get clean. There are graphic folding instructions below plus many how to video's on You Tube.

More than a cloth diaper

Flat diapers have many other useful purposes

    • dish towels
    • cleanups
    • burp cloths
    • lap pads
    • changing pads
    • bibs
    • wash cloths
    • baby wipes.

Bamboo Diapers: Care

Osocozy bamboo flat diapers are sized to shrink to square for easy folding. Wash and dry on warm, or hang to dry and save energy. Your results may vary. Washing and drying on high temperatures may result in extensive shrinkage.

Because these diapers are only one layer thick, they dry quickly on your clothes line or in the dryer.

*Please avoid the use of Borax with bamboo diapers, since it can break down the fibers. Also avoid powdered soaps and powdered additives. These tend to build up in the porous bamboo fibers. We recommend liquid detergent with the use of bamboo fibers.

If you have the patience and are willing to do a little bit of folding, using flat cloth diapers is by far the least expensive way to comfortably diaper your baby.

Sizing: One-size, 32" x 35". Shrinks to square, about 26x26.
Closure: None
Material: 70% viscose rayon made from bamboo and 30% certified organic cotton

extreme shrinkage

I purchased bamboo cotton flats because I wanted the extra absorbency of bamboo. From that perspective, they're great. However, despite washing warm and line drying or drying on low, they all shrank excessively. Most of my flats are less than 20" in at least 1 dimension. This was fine when my baby was little, but before 1 year I had to switch to pad folding because they were too short with any other fold. So much for flats lasting birth to potty training. I also had several diapers shrink to a significantly different rectangular shape than others. It seems like Osocozy bamboo flats don't have the best quality control. I still love flats, just not these ones :(

Wonderful flats, and economical!

I used these with my older son and they dried so quickly, and were easy to wash. After three years of diapering, I had a beaten up stash. I bought some more of these, and the absorbency of the bamboo flats is stellar. It rose to the challenge with my younger son, who is a very heavy wetter. I am impressed.

Shrinkage

This product continued to shrink down in size with each wash. Its normal for them to shrink down after a couple washes. But these have shrunk by half the size over the last two months. Very disappointed

Flats are the best!

These stay at 29 wash after dry after wash and dry! Theyre crazy soft and really do fit babes 7-30 pounds depending on your fold! I have used every type of Diaper (grovia, Mary bottoms, all types of fitteds, tots bots, BumGenius, prefolds, And so so many more!) Ive diapered 4 bums and flats are the best diapers. These wash and dry like a dream! All you need is a cover (i use wool!)

Item works as described.

They wash easily and barely shrank at all during prepping. I tested these diapers against the other ones I own. They are by far the most absorbant and soft. I have various other brands of diapers such as alva, lilbit, and moms best, I also have home made flats from flannel and some receiving blankets. These diaper flats held over two times fluid than the other diapers I have... a whopping 12 ounces before they wouldn't take any more water. They absorbed 10 ounces without compression leaks.
