Adjustable rise makes this waterproof diaper cover versatile for all baby shapes and sizes, from birth to potty training. It's like having three sizes in one.
- Trim fit - If you prefer tri-folding your prefold cloth diapers or just snap-in diaper inserts, the snug fit of Thirsties Duo Wrap will keep the diaper in place.
- Leak protection - Leg gussets hug skinny legs and chunky legs alike to give leak protection for any size baby.
- Comfortable - Soft binding are gentle against baby's waist and legs.
- Easy clean - Wipe the inside clean and reuse immediately.
- Long lasting - Just two sizes from birth to potty. Your baby can wear each size twice as long because the adjustable rise extends as baby grows. The durable hook and loop and binding elastic is designed to last.
You choose the closure! Thirsties Duo Wraps come with snaps or hook and loop (velcro) closure. Snaps last a long time and are better at keeping toddlers from removing their own diapers. Hook and loop closures gives you the most adjustability.

Thirsties Duo Wrap
Time will tell how these hold up, but the last thirsties diaper covers I got, with using 8 in rotation with almost exclusive cloth diapering (except disposables for running errands or whenever we were away from home), lasted about 18 months before they started leaking. We tried the osocozy brand for covers which only lasted a year, so we are back to thirsties. They do cost a little more but you get what you pay for.
I do like the osocozy prefold diapers though, those have held up, been a good value, and fit with these diaper covers.
Clothdiaper.com has good customer service too. They accidentally sent one fewer than I ordered, so I emailed to let them know and they sent another next business day no problem.
As other reviews mention, the size 2 for my two boys started to be the better fit than size 1 a bit earlier than the stated upper limit for size 1 weight. That seems to be the way for them in disposables too, so could just be I don't like them to be as snug as the manufacturer thinks.
Absolutely do not dry these in the dryer, air dry only. The urethane laminate melts and renders them leaky and useless. If you have the opportunity to dry outside in the sunshine all the better, laundry smells so much better dried outside on the line as the UV light disinfects.
I’ve used these covers for 3 children and will be using with another soon. I love the two sizes as my babies start small and the snug fit helps keep in leaks. I’ve used both snaps and hook and loop and love them both but do prefer the hook and loop for ease of use especially with a wiggly child. They last a good amount of time. I have had to replace this time. We also tried another one size brand with snaps, but they are not as roomy for toddler and more cumbersome to adjust with so many snaps.
We love these size 1 covers for my little girl. They are nice and thin, so aren't too bulky around her little legs. She started using them around 7.5 lbs on the smallest settings. Currently, at about 10.5 lbs she still uses them on the smallest settings, although will probably be increasing the waist size soon (she has skinny legs, so the smaller rise is still good). We use them over OsoCozy infant better fit prefolds laid in as inserts, or over fitted diapers. We will definitely be buying the next size up of these when she starts to outgrown the size 1.
The thirsties duo wrap is fabulous. It is thin, trim and waterproof and allows you the flexibility of using whatever kind of inserts you want. I personally use prefolds but this works with fitted diapers and I even tried it with on of the fuzzibunz inserts and it did fine. It has a snap down rise so it will adjust to whatever size your baby is. There are two sizes and each size is adjustable. The size 1 says it fits up to 18lbs but my baby is 14.5 pounds and definitely fits the size 2 better on the smallest setting. He is a little chubby in the legs but not extremely. I think the sizing recommendation is just a bit optimistic. I use these with the unbleached 4x6x4 indian prefolds which I fold into "boy" fold and open up the back flaps like angel fold to help catch all the poop. That fold combined with this wrap equals perfection. Never had a leak and isn't too bulky. Easy to clean. I just wash the covers and hang dry. They dry quickly. I can usually get thru the day with just one cover but sometimes need 2 if one gets soiled. I have also tried the Bummis and Imse Vimse, fuzzibunz and gdiaper and so far this cover is my favorite for versatility and leak protection. And the best part is the cute designs :) My only suggestion to Thirsties would be to make the elastic on the leg gussets a color other than white to make staining less of a concern.
I bought several of these in size 1 and used them from birth until recently. I like the covers, but the snaps start to break off on some of the covers within just one year with one baby. My daughter only recently reached 18 pounds at 14 months and is pretty much outgrown these. She is very small for her age and I think they normally outgrow size 1 by 9 months. Anyway, I was surprised so many snaps fell off, but the are true to size. I bought Osocozy covers and they feel a little thicker and better quality, but I'm still glad I used these size 1 for infant months because the Osocozy covers are bigger and would have been very baggy on an infant. These fit quite well since there is a second size they grow into.
