Are these able to close like with a draw string?

No, they have an elastic at the top, not a drawstring.
What are the dimensions of the bag? What equivalent size trash can will they fit?

So thanks for the great question. We have used the answer to improve our description so thank you. The bags are 25 inches wide by 25 inches high. The diaper pail we sell which is similar to a kitchen sized trash can or laundry hamper is 21 inches tall and the opening is 15 by 12.5 inches. The bag would fit in a can or hamper up to about 25 inches deep and top diameter a few inches larger then the one we mention here.

Trying to move away from plastic, I started using using these pail liners as kitchen garbage bags, and it works great.

Great for cloth diapers!

This product works fantastic. I've been using it for a year, and there is no stains or smell. I usually dump a half cup of baking soda in before filling it, and throw the whole thing in the wash.

Dependable and Long Lasting

I purchased 2 of these in 2016 when starting cloth diapering with my first child. I alternated use of these bags twice a week for 2 years and to date have had zero leaks. I highly recommend this bag.
