OsoCozy Flat Diapers (Bleached / White)

Wouldn't you love to find a cloth diaper that fits from birth to potty training but is also the least expensive cloth diapering system? If you're dreaming, you're dreaming of flat diapers. Tough, one-sized, and inexpensive. All you need is a cover, a little folding knowledge, and maybe a couple of diaper fasteners. A simple dream come true!

OsoCozy flats have been tried and tested for over a decade. These old fashioned cloth diapers are made of soft 100% cotton birdseye. They are one layer thick, and they measure 27 inches by 30.5 inches, sized to shrink to a square for easier folding. Each diaper weighs just over 3 ounces, which is much heavier and more absorbent than discount brands sometimes found in chain stores. Osocozy flats are also much softer and more durable than you find in chain stores.

The most popular diaper over time

Flats are the original cloth diaper still used around the world. Birdseye flats are durable and are one size fits all, making them the most economical cloth diapering choice. These diapers do require folding with use of a diaper fastener and diaper cover.

Flat diapers are make absorbent diaper inserts for pocket diapers or AIO diapers.

Why stop with diapering? Use flat diapers as dish towels, burp cloths, lap pads, changing pads, bibs, wash cloths, baby wipes, or lint-free wipes for your car.

Easy care

Wash in hot water or cold water. Machine dry or line dry. Bleach or no bleach. You can wash these diapers any way you like, and they are tough enough to take it. If you want them to last longer, be gentle, but just know they can take whatever you give.

Because these diapers are only a single layer thick, they dry quickly on your clothes line or in your dryer. For those who have little access to washing machines, flat diapers are the best choice. Handwashing is much easier than you expect it to be.

If you have patience and are willing to do some minimal folding, then using these diapers are by far the least expensive way to comfortably diaper your baby.

Also available in Unbleached (dozens) and Organic (dozens).

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Are these diapers the ones that seem like layers of gauze? Or are they the real old-fashioned tight woven thick cotton? I need the latter and am having trouble finding ones that aren't so gauzy.

These flats are made of Birdseye fabric which is thightly woven cotton.

Stitching issues with a couple

Good quality material, but the hem stitching came out when washed and the edges frayed. Would have been easy to re hem prior to washing, however after washing it took many hours of work

I loved these diapers

If you want a trim fit, flats are the way to go. And these are great quality and a very fair price.

Best flats out there!

Absolutely fantastic flats. Just got the order in yesterday and they're so much easier to fold and use than the ones in stores. I'm going to keep the gerbers though to use as an extra boost inside for naps and for other uses around the house, but the Oso Cozys are much better quality, for a better price!

Great quality - Just Like the Ones in the Hospital

These are so much better than the Gerber diapers! Very sturdy and a good size (the Gerber diapers shrink badly and shred easily). I was looking for the quality of what we were given by the hospital, and found exactly what I wanted!

We mainly use them as burp cloths, but also as small drop cloths when we put our daughter down on something.
